It will take three years for all the 33 radial roads, which connect the Inner Ring Road with the Outer Ring Road, to be widened for faster transportation to the new airport at Shamshabad. The narrow roads are to be widened into four-, six-, and even eight-lane carriageways at an estimated cost of nearly Rs 1,800 crore. But now only four will be taken up for development from April.
